At Ryley Wealth Management, giving back is part of who we are. Beyond delivering trusted financial advice, we’re committed to making a positive and lasting impact in the communities where we live and work.
We actively support our people in championing causes they care about through our charity matching scheme. When an employee raises money for a charitable organisation, we match 100% of the first £500 raised — instantly doubling the impact and reinforcing a culture of generosity and shared purpose across our team.
Community involvement is also built into everyday life at Ryley. All staff receive two paid volunteering days each year, giving them the time and freedom to get involved in meaningful local projects. From community gardening to organised litter picks, these activities bring our team together while creating visible, positive change in our surroundings.
Alongside individual and team initiatives, we proudly support local food banks with substantial donations twice a year. These contributions help ensure vital support reaches those who need it most and reflect our ongoing commitment to community wellbeing.
At Ryley Wealth Management, making a difference isn’t an add-on — it’s a core value that drives us to contribute, connect, and create positive change wherever we can.
We are particularly proud to be founders of the 1% Matters Fund™. David established this initiative in 2015, using 1% of Ryley Wealth Management’s profits to fund small grants for local community projects. Since then, other business leaders have made their own contributions.
The fund supports a number of causes, helping young people, the elderly, and vulnerable people in the local area. Funding is subject to some key criteria:
The aim is for the 1% Matters Fund™ to become part of a permanent legacy of community support for the people of Nottingham.
The first 1% Matters grants have already been awarded, to The Radford Care Group in support of their Friendship Group for Older People, and to two sexual abuse charities: She UK and Mending-UK.
